BUILDING AUDIT AND SPATIAL REVIEW FOR TORONTO POLICE SERVICE:
The scope of work included the survey and analysis of a total of 30 Metropolitan Toronto Police Facilities in light of the current Health, Safety and Employment Equity legislation. Spatial, Building Envelope, Mechanical and Electrical Assesment of existing spaces and building components are completed in order to determine if they meet current standards and city policies. As prime consultant we reviewed the circulation and functional deficiencies of these facilities and recommended spatial reorganization plans to resolve these problems.

Recommendations also included the cost and implementation for remedial work, renovations and addition or a new facility. Through a rational evaluation procedure, all 30 facilities are priortized in a cost plan over a 10-20 year time frame in order for Metropolitan Toronto Council to approve funding for this work in their annual capital works expediture programme.
