We were recently selected as prime consultants for this new 51,000 sq.ft. combined police and ambulance facility. This is a full service project, including programming, design, contract documents and site review services. This building is to be the first prototype model station incorporating Community Based Policing concept with an optimal complement of 270 police staff. A client directive is to reduce annual operating costs by 25% lead us into the Green Building design approach. By utilizing native plants, prevailing winds, rainfall harvesting, and the sun's energy in conjunction with energy efficient architectural, mechanical and electrical components, we are looking to achieve this operating cost objective through this environmental design approach.
