Our service was to provide contract administration services for this mounted police training facility. We attended weekly meetings to resolve construction issues and unforeseen conditions in this ‘Heritage’ building.

Services included preparing (contemplated) change orders, field instructions, site inspection reports, and evaluating claims for extras. Cost saving alternatives were recommended and accepted while maintain functional and operational needs.

Our firm was sensitive to the ‘community’ need to preserve the historic character of this structure. As such, we revised the main entrance from a modern design to an ‘Art Deco’ motif which was acceptable to the Toronto Heritage Board.
